(31 AUG 2010) Evektor a Czech based light aircraft maker is planning to start the production for the EV-55 aircraft within Russia. According to the deal which was sign by Ulyanovsk regional government, the company will find new investors for the project .EV-55 aircraft is set to target the regional Russian airliners market and can replace the Antonov An-2 biplane. The aircraft is having low price around $1.9 million, and the aircraft is twin engine with passenger capacity of around 10-14.
